I have not been out for a while but it seems the minnows are finally working. We had great success with wax worms and glow jigs thru the season.
any of you avid ice fishermen having in luck with the late ice bite? i know that most of the lakes around the area are pretty shaky right now with the current weather patterns...but i know some of you still make your way out to the thick ice to try and land some fish. let us all know if you've had any luck with the late ice fishing.

I heard that we are going to reach the mid 60's early next week. This winter has been too long!
yeah and its about time its over. hahaha....i fish a private lake in elkhorn thats got some nice size to it and its starting to melt around all the structure. its also dammed so you can tell the ice is getting a lot thinner with all the water pouring out on the other side of the dyke.
We went back up to Grove lake this week. Wide open.
I think this winter junk is over,.....finally!
