Re: Some jigs that I have made I have done it as a business and a hobbie. Yes, it can be a cost savings if you go as much as I do. If you only go a few times a year, then it isn't much of cost savings. Just to get started is going to cost you at least $200. This is only for the melting pot and molds and don't include the terminal stuff you need to make a jig(hooks, swivels, etc). I'm guessing I have close to $1k wrapped up into my lure building station. This includes all the bucktail, marabou, paint, fluid beds, etc.
